Huff ‘N Puff has just made two excellent home improvement products available to homeowners in the Capital Region and Hudson Valley area: Gutter Helmet’s Helmet Heat® Self-Regulating Gutter Heating Solution, and the new Gliding windows by Renewal by Andersen

Helmet Heat

The Helmet Heat® Self-Regulating Gutter Heating Solution is specially designed to keep snow from forming ice dams and icicles during winter season. Unlike ordinary heating cables, Helmet Heat does not have unsightly wires zigzagging at the edge of a roof. Instead, it goes right under the existing Gutter Helmet seamless gutters on Albany, NY homes.

Helmet Heat melts the snow before it has a chance to accumulate on the edge of the roof. The molten snow harmlessly flows to the gutter instead of forming icicles, which can pull down an entire gutter channel with their weight.
